Yet once, didn't with the same "the installer cannot run on this platform." I decided to try and manually install the driver instead of using the installation program. (The strange thing is that I have an another Inspiron 620 running win7 x 64 and the driver installed, a native of Dell, is the 9.1.0.328 version?) So, I tried the other available win7 x 64 package, 9.2.0.517, A02. I downloaded the x 64 driver package 9.1.0.328, A01 win7 and it failed with the same problem.
